Hi Robert.

It took us awhile to get the door chime installed.

Our electrician didn't get back from Europe until February and then I had to prepare the wall for the niche, but the niche couldn't be installed in the wall due to a cross brace in the wall and we didn't want to move it to another wall.

So the door chime has been installed next to the front door (the wall it was going to go on is to the right of where it is installed -see photos). I had to fix the dry wall, there was a hole from the old chime and from me trying to install the niche and repaint before I could send you some photos.

Despite it not being in a niche, we like where it is, next to the door (the door is nearly 100 years old, from a 1930's house that was sadly demolished). We are glad we ordered the door chime from you, there is nothing else out there that looks as good as your door chimes. It sounds great and looks great too. My wife Lyn is very happy (we both are) with the door chime, it was a birthday present for her and something she wanted for a very long time.
