Coronet Finish to Suit with Three Nickel-Plated Brass Bells

Good afternoon,

I was excited to receive my new chime yesterday. My house is a more modern style, built long after having a chime niche in the front parlor was the norm, so my doorbell was just the standard out of sight high in the hallway mount. But that doesn't mean I don't love the classic sound of real tubular bells, and I felt like this beautiful house "deserved" to sound that way when a visitor comes.

Even though the chime is mostly tucked away in a corner, 10 feet up, I still think it's stunning to look at, and fills the wall in such an appealing way. It's right between the guest room and the main bathroom, so it will still get plenty of eyes at gatherings!

I ordered it unfinished with the intention of painting it with the crown molding/trim paint from the rest of the house... But I'm considering leaving it natural or staining it now that I see it up! It's such a visual upgrade, even in a modem home's hallway.
